Eight leagues, a new group of 50 players every week, and no way down. Here is the order, how many players move up from each league, and what a win is worth, as Chess.com’s own Help Center puts it.

Everyone starts in Wood. The bar shows the share of each group of 50 that is promoted at the end of the week: 40% in Wood, a single player in Champion.
| Time control | Win | Draw |
|---|---|---|
| Bullet | 3 | 1 |
| Blitz | 9 | 3 |
| Rapid | 15 | 5 |
A rapid win is worth five bullet wins: the longer the game, the more points it carries.
“Every division starts and ends at 12pm PT (UTC -7) each Sunday.”
That is how the Help Center writes it. UTC−7 is Pacific time in summer; from early November to March Pacific time is UTC−8, and Chess.com does not say which of the two it follows then. So we show the rule as written instead of a countdown that could be an hour off.
| # | Player | Blitz | League |

The league is the one Chess.com placed the account in this week, read from each profile. It follows how many league points someone earns in a week, not how strong they are: on 29 October 2026 an Icelandic account rated 706 in rapid was in Legend.
