Where players land on Miramar, how many are still alive five minutes later and how their team places, measured on public matches from the official PUBG API. Squad only: modes are never mixed.
Miramar, official map. Gold markers: kills recorded at each named place in 18 public squad matches. The plane is decoration.
Each square is 255 m of Miramar: the brighter, the more players landed there. Numbered squares had at least 30 landings and are judged below.

A zone is called above or below only beyond 3.29 standard errors: with hundreds of squares, a looser bar would label luck. Margins shown are 95%. 294 more squares had landings but fewer than 30: they are on the map only.
Against the Miramar average: 78% alive after five minutes, placement score 57.5.

Placement score: 100 is a win, 0 the last team, counted on the teams in each lobby. Kills / player counts kills on human players over the whole match of the players who landed there, not only in that square. “Near” names the closest named place, where kills on the map were recorded.
18 public squad matches on Miramar, 29 Oct – 30 Oct, picked at random by the PUBG API on Steam and read every day. It is a sample, not every match played.
Human players only: bots, bot-only training matches, custom games and modes that are not battle royale are left out. Squad, duo and solo are never mixed, because a squad wins against 25 teams and a solo player against 100.
Miramar is split into 32 × 32 squares of 255 m, from the coordinate extent in the PUBG API documentation (8.16 km per side). A landing is where a player touches the ground after the jump.
